CBC FEDERAL CREDIT UNION BREAKS GROUND FOR NEW HIGH-TECH BUILDING On May 10, 2001, CBC Federal Credit Union in Oxnard broke new ground; beginning the construction of a new state-of-the-art, high-tech headquarters and branch building. CBC contracted with Johnson+Muller who designed the building. HMH Construction Company will be the general contractor. An attractive two-story 30,000 sq. ft. building will be located on the corner of Outlet Center Drive and Gonzales Road. Editor's Note: The Maidu-Paragon Sovereign Nation, if approved by the City Council, would have butted up against this nice new banking building. The New CBC Building will feature state-of-the-art video technology for processing standard financial transactions and is the first in Ventura County to utilize such banking technology. The facility will include two drive-thru ATM's, a large conference center for educational seminars and community meetings. Administrative staff currently located on the Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, will relocate to the Oxnard building to better serve the community. The Credit Union will continue to provide the exceptional service it has during and after the expansion. Expected completion is scheduled for first [BANK] quarter 2002. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
