The Recent Elections are
now History - Republicans bask in the shadow of "G.W."
while John Sunnunu's son goes to Washington where he can sip Tea
while Daddy reads the sports section of the Boston Globe.
The House, the Senate, the
Justice Department and the War with Iraq - all falling comfortably
into place.
Where does Oxnard exist in
the global scene?
Young boys being shot on
Bryce Street - Crime increasing in Fremont North - Graffiti goes up
and down and up and down again on the same walls. People drive like
maniacal idiot savants as the cars pile up Upon another - waiting for
FIVE POINTS signal to change and for roads to be smoothe enough to
not spill the coffee in the cup holder every 100 yards travelled.

We got a new former
Councilman returning to the Council and an incumbent former re-hire
remaining on the City Council.
No Body should ever say
that they want change - - - unless it means tires or undies. Life is
full bore into the future and more houses - more cars - more people -
more problems - and more of everything is coming to an intersection
near you.
The Oxnard Journal is
spear-heading an anti-growth
petition drive for a special election or general ballot measure on
the 2004 election. ---- TWO
